88gt

i just bought a 88gt stock with 99000 miles 5speed, car runs good but can anyone give me some tips for more power. i was looking at trickflow twisted wedge heads and having them shaved, ported and polished. what else can i do for more power

AFR heads with some good upper/lower intake and a custom cam (NOT a drop in cam like an e303...) along with some headers and a good tune

Just know with heads you're going to need larger injectors, mass airflow, and likely a tune or at least a chip

whats a good intake to go with that setup, im hearing eather holley systemax or a cobra

if you plan on staying 302cid then trick flow has a damn good complete kit for the money, and then i'd just throw some money in on a tweecer and be done. don't just throw parts at it whatever you do, because the right cam with the right heads wont do chit with the wrong intake... you gotta do 3 out of 3.

with the trickflow top end kit will i have to notch the pistons or will i be fine

Not always, I'm making decent power with GT40 heads/intake and a nice cam (though cam is a 'midrange' cam its also a higher RPM cam, my HP peak is 5800, the GT40 stuff is all midrange)

I could be doing a lot better power wise right now, but I was going for torque, with the possibility of a roots or twin screw blower in the future...

with the trickflow top end i was thinking a 150 shot of nitros will the stock bottom end be able to take it
