Smog

Live in ca. I am getting ready to put ported and polished 351 heads with gr 40 upper and lower intake. Wondering qhat throttle body to go with also wondering if i will have problems with smog. Thanks

A 65MM TB should work for you.
If you have all of your smog equipment in place and working properly and have it tuned good you should be ok, otherwise you will have trouble passing smog.

Just remember that since you are in Cali everything you do needs to be CARB compliant.

I know what you mean I have some relatives who live there. Nice place to visit, but I wouldn't want to live there either.

So i have been having all kinds of issues with cooling system lately so desided im gonna tear top end apart soon and put the ported a polished 351 heads with the bbk upper and lower intake and the e303 cam. Was wondering if my amazing smog equitment will work with these heads And if anyone knows of anything else i should change

Do away with it.
They do nothing more than to warm up the air flow a bit. Something that is desirable for economy, but not for performance. Take them off and pipe plug the intake hole. On the small tube that comes out of the line going to the heater core you can get a compression fitting to fit the tube after you cut off the bulb end of it, then just cap the other end of the compression fitting.

Thats what i didnt undrstand y u would want to warm your intake air. Idk makes no sense to me
