Bitter sweet

all this time i thought my mustang had 373 gears in i found out yesterdat that it only has the 355 gears tha came optional on some mustangs packages for 94 gt now means i have to spend money to get gears but kinda happy because the car ran a 14.2 with only a cool air intake question is is 373 gears worth the money over the already 355 i have.

Depends, If you ever plan to add forced induction of any kind the 3.55's will be a better choice. It's what I have in my 86 GT and they give me good performance even without the forced induction I have planned.

And also would larger rims throw my speedo off ?

Not necessarily, but taller or shorter tires will.

I have 245 45 R17's in the Back
And 225 55 R17's in the front
Would that throw it off

I don't know for sure.
Find out the stock tire diameter and compare it to those and see how much larger or smaller they are.
