Gears 3.73

So i Installed my new gears 3.73into my car and everything is fine beside when I start going over 60 my car starts to shake a lot it used to do that as well but not after 60 but like hitting 85 and over with the stock gears what could be causing this to my car can't really stand the shaking and I have to use the freeway quite a lot

Honestly it could be many things. Driveshaft problem; tranny problem, hubs, tires... A lot of things. A

Do you feel a vibration besides the car shaking coming from somewhere in particular? Under your feet, or rear of car maybe. Check the u-joints.

It may be that your driveshaft is out of phase.Disconnect it, roll it over 180° and put it back in.

I lifted my car today it looks like my tranny is lose it was missing some bolts

It wasn't that it's still shakes and it's feel like threw the middle and by my feet and seat it shakes

Have you checked the trans/motor mounts?

Make sure your harmonic balancer outer ring has not slipped or that the hub is not cracked.


Also did you check the driveshaft like I said above?

No I haven't I just did the tranny bolts haven't had time to check the other stuff would a video help so you guys can hear the differents sounds it makes

It may or may not help. Sometimes sounds make things easy to identify other times it's just really hard to tell.
