Bad distrubutor

What are the signs of a bad distributor?

Misfiring

Not being able to rev pass 3500-4000 RPMs

What kind you reccomed and it mis fires sometimes at an idle/:

That's how I found out mine was bad!!
Lol like I can't turn over 3500 just falls on its face

And outta curiosity , what goes bad in them?

Have have the Summit Racing Street & StripĀ® Ready-to-Run Billet Distributor ......

I'm not sure how they go bad !

Yes that's what I'm running now , with ford racing 9mm wires

I wasn't sure which one to get so I called summit and told them everything im doing with my motor and what mods I have and they told me which one to get!!!

Well you have lots more done then I do.. I just got headers H pipe 70 mm TB accel 8.8 mm wires and a k&n filter

The electronics go bad, module, pip, wheel. Also over time, ull get a little play in the shaft due to wear.
