how much power are you making with nitrous? the king kobra is a good budget clutch. but once you get over the rated 400fwhp they will not last. i am running one with no problems though. but i am also not lauunching on nitrous. lol

Try a Centerforce Dual Friction, rated to 500HP I think. I have one and it grabs awesomely, I had the King Cobra before and I chewed up two before I switched to Centerforce

i havent used it personally. trojan horse uses it and says it is a way softer pedal with 90% more holding strength.

Feels good, kinda stiff but you can feel it grab. If you get it you also have to buy a heavy duty throwout bearing to go with it I think total was like around $400. Kinda expensive but I haven't had to change my clutch in over a year since I bought it. When I used King cobra I had to change my clutch like every six months

Yep, but I don't think it will hold up long to that kind of abuse.
I have slammed mine with 400+ HP too many times to count, but launching on nitrous at 500+ HP may do it in. You could take a look at the new DYAD clutch from Centerforce, but it is very expensive ($1500) and they may not have it for your application yet. You best bet is to contact your chosen manufacturer and let them help you choose a clutch. Have all of your info ready, size, spline count, HP, car weight, etc., etc..
