How well it runs shifts handles etc.. Does it overheat. Has it overheated, how many miles are on the build, has it been wrecked, is the title good to go, check the oil, check the radiator, just look for irregular things and ask all those questions.. And pay good attention to the wiring some people hack them all up!!

Find a way to get underneath the car. Check for rust on floor pans and check for leaks. Take it up to highway speeds and see if it shakes.

Here are a couple of quick pics. Guy is putting on the pony rims tomorrow so I can take it for a test drive. Body has 54,000 on it. Put a 91 engine in it. Forgot to mention this is a place in New Hampshire were everyone that has a mustang from 1978-1993 get all there parts from. He occasionally will sell a whole car.

He wants $2,500. He parked it before winter and it's still registered but now he put a 93 convertible automatic together during the winter that he's going to start driven

Re: 86 GT

That looks to be an 86 that may have been converted to MAF (Mass Air Flow). If it all checks out ok, with that low mileage it is well worth the money. If it has been converted to MAF, that's a big plus, if not that's one of the first things you should do to it.

Yes it is. 86 with 54,000 on the body with solid floors,shock/strut towers, torque boxes with a 91 engine with 62,000 on it. Just need to send it out for a paint job. MAF,cold air,headers,h-pipe,flow-master,short shifter. I'm happier than pig in ****. Getting it delivered to day

I bet she would love it.
I'm actually going to paint my youngest daughter's 89 GT Convertible Hot Pink and Pearl White. She was killed by a drunk driver in 2007 and her sisters and I are fixing the car up the way she wanted it and when finished her sisters will show it with a placard telling the story and warning against drunk driving. We are hoping that maybe it will prevent another family from having to go through the pain and sorrow we have had to endure.

Work Comp SUX! I have been dealing with them here in MO since I was injured in 2009 trying to get my injuries properly cared for so I can possibly return to some semblance of my former lifestyle. What the doctors are telling me though is not encouraging and the @55holes I worked for fired me in July 2011, so things are a bit tight here too.

I wish you the best of luck in dealing with them in your state and hope you get the proper care you need.

Thank you for your kind words and thoughts.

Those torn tendons are going to take some time to heal up. I tore one in my forearm several years ago and it took well over a year to heal up and never has been quite the same afterwards. Just be sure you don't make it worse by using them too much before they are properly healed.
