6-71 blower

K heard some things around about sticking one of these on a fox. Is it possible to put a actual 6-71 blower on a 302. How? Is my question cause if so I have access to 6-71 blowers off actual 6-71 detroits or is the 6-71 blowers that ppl talk about a different than the ones on a 6-71 Detroit cause Detroit is a GM and I've heard they bolt right up to a BB Chevy but we talkin SB ford here

I cannot say what this fox has..but I just gotta say...FU©K!!...some people love turbo's with crazy blow off valves...but real old school 6:71 roots are the best!!...and fyi yes they can be put on a 302..but you'd better have the parts to take it

Yes a 6:71 thread!. It would be pricey but if it doesn't bolt I bet someone has an adapter or can fab a custum intake. Like Steve said people run them on 302s. The thing is on our small motors they will make over 30 lbs of boost. But you can underdrive them down to the 10-13 lb range. You would definitely want a support system and forged internals. And you would also gain a few new bff's like me and Steve. Haha.

I might have to do some research cause I have a 6-71 blower sitting on the shelf in the shop. And yes my plans in a year is for a 331 boss with all forged internals anyway.

When I was thinking of doing a weiand 174 I watched this video. Anyways the guy bought a adapter to run a 302 intake on a 351. The place he bought the adapter from makes custom ones I believe. The website he purchased from is in the info.maybe contact them?

I am the opposite. After 6 months I would get so used to it, I would think you couldn't hear it anymore and be upset! Haha.
