Re: PCV Valve

I'm not familiar with the fox setup... but I'm pretty sure there isn't a valve. It's a positive crankcase ventilation system. Should just be a set of tubes that go from your valve covers and into the intake... sometimes through a catchcan first.

Its behind the intake all the way in the back by the firewall...on the lower intake manifold..there should also be a screen on the end or in the hole also..if its missing it can cause you to burn excess oil..

There is a PCV valve. It plugs into the center back of the engine.

I am still having problems locating the PCV Valve. Do any of you have pictures to where it might be, thanks.

Follow the hose to it in the center back of the lower intake.

It's not to bad if you remove the hood and lower yourself in there headfirst with a hoist.

I am finally going to change out the PCV. Would it be easier for me to install if I removed the upper intake first?

It would probably make it easier to access, but increase the labor and time spent by a good bit.

Just reach back and pull it out. It takes two minutes. Google it to get an idea of exactly where it is.
