| Wheel bearing???? Plz help
So here is one for you guys I have a 90 GT and I have replaced the bearing on the front of my car twice already thinking it is that! After a week of having each set in it sounds like the damn bearings are going again! It sounds like there is no grease in there and it is bearing on bearing!! Can some atleast give me a heads up for something! It's not expensive to replace but damn annoying to keep on with! Anything helps!

Make sure the bearings you are buying are "Made in the USA". China made bearings fail with amazing rapidity.

Tell us how you installed them? Preload set correct? Did you check for play when you were done?

I thought 87 and up used a sealed bearing?
Maybe you have been using the wrong bearings?

I checked. The 79-93 use the old style bearing and race. The 94-99 use the sealed bearings.
I got it confused from reading about installing 94-95 front spindles and hubs in a 5-lug conversion.
