Smog pump

Do u get a lil hp gain if u delete the smog pump..

Not really but then you would need to geta smaller belt unless you have the delete kit!!

U loose a tiny bit of front end weight and clean up the engine bay some. Hp wise maybe 1-3.

Every pony counts right? Lol yea I was gonna do a delete kit..i wanna get rid of alot of emission stuff bc I dont need it..i have no cats or anything anyway..and here in NY for a 94 its just saftey inspection

You could probably realize more HP gain by turning it into a crankcase evacuation pump. Pulling a vacuum in the the crankcase helps seal up the piston rings and oil seals, keeping the oil in and making more power by promoting better piston ring sealing. Not sure that they still do, but at one time FMS actually sold them as a vacuum pump for just that purpose.

Not no more..wen I sat down the other day and realized how much $$ I have in car..its not worth to sell..im just gonna keep it and continue to buld the beast!!
