X3z vs a9l

My buddy is converting his car to mass air and I've been helping him look for a computer. I came across a x3z from a cobra. I know its calibrated for 24lb injectors, which he will be running. He also has a bbk 76mm mass air calibrated for #24s. Should it be ok to run this or should wait on an a9l? What other difference is there between them?

It will work fine and since it is already calibrated for the 24 lb injectors he won't really need the MAF calibration too. A stock Cobra MAF would probably work better since it will not need to correct the injector calibration within the ECU.

The maf came from bbk and is already calibrated for 24lb injectors. Will this still work fine with no problems? Thanks for the reply

Re: X3z vs a9l

I'm not sure. It may interfere with the computer programming. The best thing to do is to contact BBK and ask them.
