Question gt40 lower intake problem

i have this gt40 lower intake manifold and there is no hole for the ACT sensor. i wanted to know if there is any way to make this work.

Drill the hole or extend the wore and stick it in the air intake

I have heard of people just tying them up away from any immediate heat source as a temporary measure if you need to do that.
