Re: Whats you favorite gas station?

I use the premium (91 octane) at Chevron. I guess I want to believe that the techron in their fuel is keeping my engine internals cleaner. Wish we had 93 octane here in Phoenix. There's probably only a handful of stations that have it.

Any place that is cheap lol.

I normally just fill up on 93 at krogers since I don't really drive my car a whole lot so I maybe fill it up once every month month and a half...hell maybe 2 months I don't keep track

Re: Whats you favorite gas station?

My choices are limited to an Amoco station or Casey's and I won't run Casey's watered down fuel in my car. There used to be a small airfield in the river bottoms where we could get aviation gasoline, but it's long gone now.

In Tampa fl every gas station has an option of 87, 89,and 93. There's a sonoco here that has 118 Octane race fuel that's separated from their normal fuels. I haven't tried it yet on my mustang cuz I think I might need to tune my car right to use it.

Don't use that in your car. It's just a form of kerosene.

I suppose if you have a diesel it would burn ok for that though.

I love QT!

They have the best fountain drinks! And free air to boot! Shell is often cheaper with my Kroger discount. I still fill up at QT on occasion.

Racetrack irritates me since they don't take AMEX at their pumps.

I need my airline miles.

I'm in California so I have no option except for 91. Chevron is my choice here I guess. Can't run E85. When I lived in Massachusetts it was Sunoco ultra 94 always!

I use Texicos gas they say it has techron to help keep the fuel for leaving deposets in your fuel injectors. I'm just starting out learning about the fundamentals of ford engines, so I have to trust that there keeping my Fox clean. (93 octane)

Up here in canada I've seen the same truck fill up shell and costco. My car runs just as well on costco gas as shell. No difference in their premiums at all. Octane tested the costco gas and it was 92 with a 91 rating. At 14 /litre ill stick with costco gas as long as the quality stays high. I've had bad gas from lots of places. The 'mowhawk' stations all have huge quantities of ethanol in it. Worst part is they advertise it as a good thing and they sell a lot of it as high performance fuel.

That happens here in the states too.
They usually have a "central" fuel terminal that supplies fuel to the stations/sellers.
The big difference is how well the stations/sellers maintain their fuel tanks and equipment.

AmericanExpress I should say that they don't accept it.
