Paint

I have a 1995 mustang GT that i am going to paint a gun metal grey color. The thing im wondering is should i paint dark purple racing stripes or just keep it the one color? Im interested in some opinions on how it might look

Hey, if you like purple, why not? I think you could pull off gunmetal w/ dark purple if the stripes are done right.

IMO No, BUT it's not my car or choice either.
The color combo just doesn't click with me, but if you like it then go for it.

I like the Sapphire Blue on the 95 Mustangs, with White or Silver stripes.

If you do end up doing the grey with purple stripes then be sure to line the stripes off with another color like black or a lighter grey. Stripes alone painted on another color doesn't ever look finished, IMO.

Nah it's cool.
Just different tastes
I believe some cars should have them outlined and some can pull it off with out. But to each his own.
