Two questons one major consern..

First one.. Is it possible to make the airbag light on my dash go out there is no airbag in my car anymore and I'm not paying 1000$ for a new one and the light blinks an it's super annoying..

Second which I really need help with.. My oil pressure gauge drops to 0 when in idle but the once I put it in gear and hit the gass it goes up.. Then it stays normal until I go out of gear and let it drop back down to idle..

Can you not take out the gauge cluster and remove the bulb?

Just a thought, if you have a wreck some insurance company's will not cover injury's if you don't replace the air bag.

The oil pressure dropping to 0 at idle means that your engine bearings (usually main, rod & cam) are worn out and need to be replaced, or that your oil pump is worn out.
When you have to tear the engine apart for this issue you just as well plan on a full rebuild, because if the bearings/oil pump are worn out, so is the rest of the engine.

Before u go into engine rebuilding, and tear down, do an oil change. Take a good look at the drained oil too. If you see any sparkles or shiny metal debris, then it is possible the bearings may be calling it quits. If the oil looks good, and the new oil hasn't changed the way ur gauge is behaving, then you will have to use another oil pressure gauge to check oil pressure with. May be possible that your gauge has an issue. I've seen bad alternators make gauges read wrong too.

Will probably end up rebuilding anyway.. But as for now what gauge for oil pressure should I get I see mechanical an electric ones is there a difference? And how do I hook them up.?

Re: Two questons one major consern..

Get a mechanical gauge so you can be sure it is correct. You will connect it at the oil pressure sending unit using a 1/4" pipe nipple and tee so you can leave your dash gauge connected too.

No, you will have to buy the fittings separately.

Do you know if the idle and oil pipe have anything to do with each other? Ik I have a small idle problem.. And the pressure is high and steady until the idle drops then it just crashes so I didn't know If one is causing the other problems..

The oil pump is driven by the distributor. So the slower the rpms are the less oil pressure. But unless your idling under 4-500 rpm, I don't think it should read zero.

It drops to about 8-900 rpms when it's idleing.. After driving it takes a couple seconds to drop to idle and takes a second to come out of idle..

8-900 is fine. It should not read zero pressure with what you describe

Would it run bad with no oil pressure?

It's hard saying.you may not notice the repercussions of the oil issue until something gives. Unless its knocking, etc. But if your asking if that's your idle problem, I doubt it.
