Oil light?\oil weight for summer?

When ever its hot out(its summer so every freakin day lol) say I start up car then drive to say the 7\11 around the corner from my house..then car is off for 2 mins and then when I turn back on my oil light is on? But my oil is not low bc I check all the time..right now I have 10-30 in it..do I need to run diff weight for summer?

some people run thicker in the summer. but i never have with good results. the oil you have should be fine. but i am not sure why your light is coming on.

Is it a low oil or low oil pressure light?

Probably just a sensor issue, your oil is fine for summer and winter use as it is a multi-viscosity oil.

Mine does same thing. Now its actually on all time though..I'm leading to believe sensor..or hoping. Mine says check oil..do I have a pressure light?...I mean I have a guage..

It says "low oil" in yellow light

Around $75, but I wouldn't really call a low oil level sensor stupid.

Ya same story here. I know when I get my changes, can check it, and see if puddles under car. I'm gonna leave be and move to other things
