MAF question

The black plug that screws on to the MAF is that the sensor or is it just something that plugs into the sensor

Re: MAF question

Yes, that houses the sensor and electronics.

On newer cars, they keep the sensor and just change the tube it is mounted in to increase size.

Ok cause I was told that it's a stock maf sensor. I was told buy the guy when I bought it that it was a 75 mm maf set for 24 lbs injectors you can see by the chrome that it's not stock. Could we both be right idk

It doesn't look like a stock one to me, but who knows for sure.
The injector size programming is usually (or it used to be) scribed into the plastic on top.
Measuring it and converting to MM will tell you if the size is correct.

Did you get any paperwork or is there a name and part number on it?

There is a tube inside the housing it looks like there's a way to take it off

Well it's evidently a Ford sensor. Probably off of a newer vehicle.
I'm surprised it doesn't have any numbers on it.
