Color opinions?

O I have parts like a new windshield and some other exterior parts. That need put on after paint.. Weatherstripping ect.. Other mods are being put on the back burner as i am pulling the motor within a month or so to have it redone.. So I was wonder what were some good colors everyone was thinking.. I do kinda like orange but the paint on there now is HORRIFIC so it could still be an option.. Anyone have ideas? Or pictures..

Re: Color opinions?

Color changes are difficult and expensive, especially if you cannot do the work.I'd stick with the factory color unless I was prepared to strip and repaint the entire car.

If you do not paint the door edges, jambs, inside the hood, engine bay, etc., when changing colors it just looks crappy and unfinished whenever you open a door or hood.

Well the person who had it before me thought it was a good Idea to bassicly rattle can it.. It might have been done with a gun but without experience.. So it will be getting all sanded down.. I will do probably 80 % of the work myself.. It will be done at a good family friends shop (professional) the only thin I'm not comfortable with yet is the final few clear coats..

Just make sure it is properly prepped and really, really clean before spraying on the clear. Add a few extra coats, so you can wet sand and polish it out to a mirror shine.

Usually I let dean do the final coats.. Hope it turns out good.. The original color is white.. But I don't know if I'd like it with..
