If your runnin flows with tailpipes take the tailpipes off and dump it right before the axle. That should give it a little more rumble.

Mine is shorty headers, o/r h pipe with 10 series flowmasters dumped. Nice and loud. When I switched from 40series to 10s dump it was night and day.

Yeah that never looks right imo..but in this case I think you only need a single chambered exhaust then.. ---------- Post added at 11:08 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:07 PM ---------- Or...hmmm do faux tips but still have it dumped?...

Long tubes would make it louder...just saying shorties really dont do much considering what stock is...but i agree a single chamber is your best bet

But yeah if ya want long tubes it's a plus for sure!.

But my car was a little fumy anyways. So it does it doesn't bother me. The only time it could be an issue would be sitting idling for a long period of time. If you see Steve's setup, you notice the dump pipes on them? You can use those for tips and angle them down and toward the outside to help out.

yes one chamber will be louder. i dont think i would hassle with changing the x pipe. an h pipe would be a deeper sounding, but the x maybe good for a couple ponies.
check out youtube. its not as good as in persone but there are tons of different setups you can listen to.

Appears to smoke on hard acceleration and after you let off, maybe just the valve seals are bad?
