Gt40 intakes

Does anyone know the horsepower ratings for the Gt40 upper and lower from the 1993 ford lightning and flow rate?

HP ratings will be variable with whatever engine combo you might have and how it is tuned.
Probably in the 10-20 HP over stock range.
There was/is an intake flow comparison chart posted in this forum somewhere in the past, but it may differ as it is based on using the 302 engine.

Sorry about that what I meant was how much horsepower will those intakes hold up to, an the rpm range. I'm having the bottom end stroked out and forged. So I wanted to save a little money if it will hold up to 500hp

The 93' Lightning is a 351w right? So the lower will not work on a 302

I think that might be a stretch if you are naturally aspirated. It would probably be a choke point above 350-400 HP as it was never designed for that much power.

If you used a Cobra upper and had the lower and upper ported out it might serve ok.
Check with TMoss Porting and see what he thinks.
They have been porting the Cobra intakes for years and will probably have a better idea of their capabilities.
