Msd

I Bought a msd distributor yesterday and the guy I got from said I can't install it with out the msd box because then I can mess some stuff up. Is this true?

Depends on which one you bought.

It won't mess anything up, but if you got the one that requires the box, then it won't work without it.

It's the msd pro billet one with the black from american muscle

i think most of them are pro billet?

i think the type that run without a box are the ready to run kind.

The MSD 8456 works with the factory ignition and does not require a box.
