need help with an automatic transmission of a ford mustang 1989

The transmission didn't change
And also i need the automatic transmission overdrive specifications

What do you mean "didn't change"?


If it is not shifting, then you may have valve body problems.


What "specs" are you looking for?


If you are wanting overhaul info, you will probably have to buy a manual as there is just too much info in them to post up here.

Also it has a plug that i don't connected. I don't know if that have relationship with that is not shifting

I don't know much about them, but if the TV cable isn't set correctly it can cause shifting problems and ruin the transmission fairly quickly.


As far as vacuum, I'm just not sure. Check and see if it has any lines going to it.

+1 on the tv cable/ kickdown or junk in the valvebody.
