1987 mustang gt

Were any of them used as cops car and how much horsepower did they have. Also is a kickback cable for the trans hard to install

No.. Not that I know of they used 89' an up coupes.. The power difference wasn't much.. The kick down cable is a very important part to the trans if not installed right you can trash the trans in very lil time.. So yes it is an important part.. It helps to have a hand setting it especially if it's carb car. But I think the easiest way is peg the throttle and hook it up with the kickdown wide open or all the way down.. There may be another way but I have only had 2 AOD's.
