I disagree the b cam will work fine with your setup. The E is a bit more aggressive.. I have a lil b cam in my 90' and it's a beast. I have a lil clip for an example of the sound. Minus supercharger.

You can't do much of anything for a cam until you convert it to MAF.
Any mod that will affect the air flow will mess with the speed density.
And, putting just a cam in a stock engine that hasn't been modified to take advantage of the increased air flow is a waste of time and money.

Save your money, convert to MAF, then do HCI all at once.
Trick Flow has an HCI kit that will net you around 360 HP.

+1. You gotta loose the speed density junk,.. Then maybe a small cam. But if you can save what TH said is the best bang for your $$

It appears to be complete.
You might want to ask if the O2 sensor harness is included.

And I've seen many problems pop up along the way you have to be prepared for.. So allow a wknd of work if you plan on doing it.

Yes that will work. The "tune is a bit more aggressive for the A9L, but the A9P is tuned to be suitable for the AOD to keep from damaging it.

Nope, I tried to talk with them about a subscription a while back and got a snarky, smart aleck answer, so I for one am not interested in their magazine.

The first thing you will need to do is to convert it to MAF.
The speed density system throws a fit whenever you mess with anything that changes the air flow.

Figured i'd correct this real quick, the a9p is the more aggressively tuned out of the 2. The a9l pulls timing between shifts, not the a9p.

I certainly got that bassackwards didn't I?

Here's some info I found.
I cannot vouch for its accuracy though, so use it at your own risk.

"You can put an automatic ECM in a manual car, but not vise-versa, unless you deal with the trans switch situation mentioned below. You must cut the wire leading to pin 30 on the 60 pin ECM connector if you are installing a manual trans ECM (like a A9L) in an automatic car. If not, you will burn up the ECM."
