Power loss

My car has been losing power at around 2500 to 3000rpms when it warms up. It runs just fine when i first start driving but once it gets warm and i try and get on it a little it it will hit 3k and lose all power. I have replaced the plugs and wires and i just did the fuel filter but still the same thing. I was told it could be the module on the distributor? Any suggestions?

Search online for the procedure to test the pip. Also if the coil is old I would just go ahead and replace that.

Re: Power loss

Is your spout connector in place? There are test procedures in the Useful Info thread for most components.

Spout connector is in place and i just replaced the cap and rotor today. Its definitely running better. The acceleration is much smoother but i didnt get to drive it enough to warm it up and see if the problem is fixed, getting pretty nasty looking outside, so hopefully i can get it out for a bit tomorrow and let you all know!
