power loss???

Okay I have a 92 hatchback , finally restored with mostly stock 302 except long tubes and cold air. It is a 5 speed. Electric fan and the removal of air pump equip. I notice that the car has a hesitiation when im climbing 2000 to 3500 rpms. It feels like something is holding it back. Also has had tune up so new plugs, wires, and fuel filter. Anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like a coil or distributor issue. You can test these parts to be sure.

Thank you, I forgot to mention I have a rather new accel super coil. Ill check the distributor though, do you think a bad sensor such as tps could cause this problem?

Re: power loss???

Timing issue possibly.Did you set the timing correctly and replace the spout connector when finished?
