Backfiring?

It just started and the CEL came on but I think that's just low coolant??

I don't think that your check engine light will come on due to low coolant on the fox bodys. If u can amd know how check your timeing and fuel pressure for sure Amd most importantly check your codes first

My bad man I thought u had a fox body but the same goes for the 94/95

My bad man I thought u had a fox body but the same goes for the 94/95
I'm pretty sure mine does because I've had low coolant before and it comes on an I fill the tank and it goes off..

What year do u have cuz my 94 has a separate low coolant light but I guess yours could be different

Your fuel pressure should be 38-40 psi, with the engine idling and the vacuum hose on the regulator removed and capped.Backfiring is probably a timing or ignition issue.
