cam???

I traded a truck for my mustang and the motor looked like its been.worked on, it has 1" intake spacer, mac longtubes, mac prochamber mid pipe, two flowmasters, CAI, and underdrive pulleys. I was just wondering if there's a way you can tell if it has a cam or not. When I'm at a red light or stop sign, sometimes it seems to idle smooth but a little high, and sometimes it lopes.....and also, when I take off from a stop sign it seems to hesitate for a minute then takes off like a bat outta hell.....LOL

I'm pretty sure it's got a cam in it , it should be marked on the cam, Doubt you wanna take it out just for that.

Pull a valve cover. Then check how much lift it has with a dial indiacator. If its hesitating on take off then it may just be a miss. With my cam I have great throttle response.

The hesitation is probably caused by a fuel delivery, timing or tune issue.
