By car randomly dies too unless I have my chip turned on race or performance. I switched my spark plug wire, and plugs. Could the alternator make it die randomly though? Because it starts right back up.

Hmm I had that same issue before this bogging occurred and it was a cracked cap. Not saying yours is but maybe some thing to check out.
