I was just quoted about $1200 for all parts and labor for complete exhaust system. BBK high flow cats with H pipe, flowmaster 2 chamber mufflers, stainless steel straight pipes plus tips. Is this a good quote?

Seems a little high. You could do it yourself. you listed about $600-700 worth of parts.

Exhaust parts are usually not wear items and used parts can sourced far cheaper.

To me that's just freaking ridiculous, BUT I'm used to the days when a complete exhaust system only cost $200-$300 too.

With today's labor and parts costs it is probably reasonable.
Like the guys are saying you can source some used parts and do it yourself much cheaper.

I am about 150 in on mine. Got my summit headers brand new on eBay for 30$ and bought 2 mufflers from summit racing for 55$ a piece and fit them my self.

Yea man thats a little high i didnt get as many parts as u but i got flowmaster 10 series cat back installed for 360 then the h pipe (no cats) for another 350 i dont no the laws were u live but u could just go with no cats that might save money instead of buying the high flow cat

Yeah in my case, the previous owner had a catted h pipe and 40series flows on it. I just cut the cats out and welded my own pipes in. Then cut the back of the exhaust off and threw on the 10s dumped.

But my county does do full smog inspection. But the next county over doesn't. So I threw my cousins name on the title with mine so I don't have to do inspection.
