Cool 1995 GT vs. 1996 GT Instrument Cluster

Well, got a pristine 96 IC today at the junkyard. My odometer died and the needles are faded (convert). Cleaned it all up and threw it in....only half of it worked! I looked at the part numbers and the foil runs, distinct difference. So, if I swap the 95 wiring foil onto the 96, I should be good?

TIA!

Yes, if it will fit and the contact points are the same it should work.
Be careful you don't break it during the R&R, they get brittle with age.

No go. After looking at the foil runs, there is a distinct difference. I'll move the new gauges to 95 cluster. Thanks TH!
