Burnt oil smoke maybe?
Just got done taking the car for a little blast around the neighborhood and when I got back smoke was coming out of the cowl opening on my hood. When I opened the hood it smelled like burnt oil but was coming from behind the manifold by the firewall. Oil dropping from somewhere on to the tranny or exhaust maybe? Any ideas on where the oil may be coming from or of its dripping onto the exhaust or what. I'm just nervous about anything with my baby.

I would suspect valve cover gasket. But hard to tell. Your gonna have to clean everything really good and maybe use a mirror if you need to and watch for the leak
