running rich?

Hey guys. My car smells like unburnt fuel... Esp when I'm running it harder n then I stop it stinks real bad n some blue smoke... But it doesn't smell like burnt oil. Just fuel. Any helpd be appreciated

Ok guys. Got it narrowed down... So the car only runs rich if and right after u downshift.... Like as soon as u get on the gas after lettin it run down some it smells super rich... Now my question... I have 3 " pipes from headers back on a near stock motor. Could this be my problem?

Check your fuel pressure and you may have some injectors going bad.

Your exhaust pipe size won't affect the A/F ratio.
If it is smoking blue, it's burning oil.
Excessive fuel smoke is black.

My 89 smokes when I take off or accelerate hard it seems like it's gray. I still have my cats but it looks and smells like I don't.

Could have a sticking fuel regulator,,put a fuel gauge on it and see
