KYB vs Monroe?

In your opinion, which would be the better choice to put on your foxbody? I am assuming KYB's are better, but I've read a couple of reviews about the shocks/struts failing after 25,000 miles?

This car has the 4 cylinder springs and suspension still. So anything would be an upgrade, haha.

I've never had any problems with kyb, they are a great product and I highly recommend them. I currently run koni yellow coils which are great as well.

Check out maximum Motorsports for all your suspension needs. They are pretty close to me over here in California. They have a beautiful shop and an incredible fox shop car. All they car about is suspension pieces for 'stangs. You won't find one horsepower building piece on their website. Full dedication to chassis tuning is their business. You can get a set of springs from them or one of their suspension packages such as "tge grip box". Check them out

"the grip box" not tge. I wasn't done writing but sent it anyways. They also sell koni and kyb's as well.

Re: KYB vs Monroe?

Okay, so I definitely need some Koni's? Gotcha. For now, I was gonna do a budget build because the car had been sitting on the same 4 cylinder springs/shocks/struts. It desperately needs an overhaul!

I think a set of koni's and some Maximum Motorsports springs will make the car feel pretty darn good. It's affordable and definitely worth every penny spent.

W/e you do don't go with Monroe shocks, they don't make any for a performance application, and I work at a Monroe I'm not sure if I'd run a set on a normal car lol
