Trick flow street heat intake..which heads

So I spent like 500 on steering shaft and just a few other small things and I got to thinking i might as well spend that much or a little more on heads and cam on my 87gt. Trying to get everything together before paint. What alum heads and cam would match the intake I have? I will also be spraying this car. My biggest goal is to raise the front tires!! I've got draglites on the way. Trying to also decide between 4:10 and 4:30.

Well you wont get the heads and cam for 500. Trickflow has a top end kit that includes your intake. twisted wedge heads and a stage 1 or 2 cam. The top end kit runs about $2500 but since you already have the intake you wont want the whole kit. Cheapest NEW price iv seen twisted wedge heads go for is 1400 for the pair but you could probably find some good used ones in the 7-800 range.. The cam will run you between 160-200 new. Check out summit racing and find the street burner top end kit and it will show each individual part in the kit and you could just pick out what you want

The best heads for your application are the TFS-51400004-M61 (170cc runner, 61cc chambered heads). You can normally get them for about $1100 retail through most of our dealers. I would also suggest the stage 1 cam (TFS-51403001). You will be able to spray it and have no issues.
