B&M shifter

Does anyone have an opinion concerning the "precision sport shifter" from B&M? Anyone every use one? Do you or did you like it?

I haven't used that particular shifter, but I have used several different B&M shifters over the years and they all performed well with minimal issues.

Re: B&M shifter

I had one on my old T-5, was fine.... but no match for MGW as it is far supierior so I would go with something better since you spend tons of time shifting gears.

mgw, pro 5.0, or steeda

Your interior is amazing! Mine looks like a condemned section 8 apartment.

I actually bought the MGW. It will be here tomorrow. I went out in the garage and started getting everything ready. I pulled my center console, radio, shift boot and dust boot only to find that my car had the B&M shifter in it already. I figured I would pull the stock shifter, scrap the old rtv and get it ready for my new shifter thinking the B&M was the stock one. Not one thing was modified on my car when I bought it so I never would of assumed the shifter was anything but stock. I drained and filled my tranny but never through the shifter. I used a clear, 3' long piece of 3/8" tubing and routed it past the headers to fill it. Never would of guessed.

I guess my next question is, is the MGW that much more superior to the B&M or am I just throwing money around?

That's hilarious!.. They make a pump that can be bought at o'riellys for $15. You pull the handle down pout the liquid in the pump screw the lid back on and slide clear hose in the filler hole from the bottom and pump in.. A lot easier this way..

Haha! I always end up doing things the hard way. While I was in the process of the whole drain and fill I was thinking "man! There has got to be an easier way to do this ****!" Im buying that pump for the next episode.

It's probably the B&M pro ripper. I stumbled upon that shifter when I was looking up the one that came out of my car.
