Should I swap engines?

Hello, everyone. I currently am driving a '98 v6 auto, and was just wondering about a couple of things.
I realize that buying a GT would be easier and cheaper, but I would supremely love to keep my car and make it faster!

I want to drop a carbureted 302 into it, to save money on the electrical stuff.
Here is what I have so far:
-5.0 out of an 86 Mustang or 90's Crown Vic.
-T-5 transmission out of a Fox, I think. It's a World Class.
-Long Tube headers for a 5.0.
-Weiand Stealth Intake.
-Holley 650 Carb.
-HEI style distributor
-Ford Racing Wires.
-Clutch kit, Air breather, Valve covers.

Am I missing anything else that could possibly cause problems later on?
I know I need a 94-95 K-member, could could I use one out of an '87 Fox LX?

Motor mounts maybe, I would ditch the hei setup. And just wait and save $$ for a Msd combo. Also get everything refreshed if you can.. Freshen up and upgrade the trans add a short throw shifter, you will also prob need a driveshaft from a gt maybe..

Re: Should I swap engines?

Ah, you reminded me! I also have a driveshaft out of a '91 Fox, and my '98 already has an 8.8 rear end with a 2.73 gear, I think. That or 3.27, I have no idea...
And I am getting rid of the HEI soon. I have heard nothing but great things about MSD!
