Re: Best thing about your Fox Body

The best thing about my Fox Body is that it's mine and it loves me when I put new parts on it.

Best thing about mine is the fact I've done almost the entire build myself. Many, many learning experiences along the way, with a lot of bad ones during the process, but learning nonetheless. The only thing that comes to mind that I couldn't do myself was the tune and the aluminum tank.

If you are talking about a tuner tune, look in the sticky thread about the PMS, there are some video links at the bottom of the posts showing how to use it. It's not that hard to figure out.

Thanks guys she is nice. It's a stock ford Mexican block. It's actually a 349, 347 with a .040 over bore instead of .030. It makes around 620 flywheel. So probably 540ish at the wheel? I only run 8lbs of boost because until recently it was daily driven. Got some more plans for her tho

Be careful, you are already well past the capabilities of the block. Do you have main stud and valley girdles for extra support?

Yes I have both. I know the block will give out eventually, just don't have the money for a dart yet. So I figure I'll run it till it breaks

What's not to love, there's a reason it's one of the most modifiable cars made. It's nice when you can make people think twice about wanting to race because they know how quick these old pieces of art can move.
