Exhaust??

hi guys. got a question.

im looking for the mustang snarl that i hear on some of the newer ones . i mine sounds good when your reving it or giving it hell. but for normal driving i only hear the engine.

looking under the body all i could see was two mufflers and pipes. i think i was told they were magnaflows. but im not really sure.

so what do i change?

Re: Exhaust??

That really depends on how much exhaust note you are looking for and how much cash you are looking to drop. I bought a Borla aggressive cat-back exhaust as one of my first mods. It cost a bit more than most other brands but you sure as hell hear the difference. I get a lot of compliments about it. I will eventually get long tube headers but keep with an h-pipe crossover so I keep the low muscle car burble and roar

Re: Exhaust??

for a 5.0 a nice MAC prochamber and a flowmaster catback will sound pretty good.

Re: Exhaust??

I had the bassani x-pipe and mac catback with 3" tips. So my neighbors didn't really like me too much when I started my car at 4:30 in the am....

And what I really miss is when I would pull into a parking lot and mothers would grab their children.....That sh*t was so funny..

Re: Exhaust??

I have a 2001 V6 3.8L and i was wondering what exhaust system people would recommend to make it sound good and have the highest performance. I have a BBK Cold Air intake on it.

Longtube headers O/R h pipe and flowmaster dumps sound good on a 5.0.

Re: Exhaust??

I dont have a 5.0. I am worried about it sounding bad because the motor is only a v6 3.8l and i dont want to make it to sound like a rice burner. I would like it to sound like the older stangs. do u have any suggestions for me?
