Yeah I wasn't sure either that's why I asked beforehand. The yoke on my aod shaft looks different than the used aluminum driveshaft that I put on it.

Yeah, the diameters and tooth count may be different.

Apparently the driveshaft is interchangeable but the stock aod has the extra weight on the yoke to limit drivetrain vibration. I haven't swapped them out yet but when I do I can confirm whether that's correct or not.

Update. Swapped my stock driveshaft back on and went on 2 drives so far without leakage. Hopefully it stays that way.
