Convert Drain Parts - Need data please

Where are these supposed to mount? I didn't have these in my '87 Mustang but found these online from a '93 model. I know they go in the convertible well area, but not sure where each piece is supposed to mount. Pictures or any other help would be greatly appreciated.

I couldn't find anything even remotely similar for vert drains. The only things listed or shown are tubes.

What did they call those where you bought them from?

Re: Convert Drain Parts - Need data please

I agree. I have the 1987 Mustang factory service manuals, 1983-93 convertible service manual and recently purchased a 1993 Mustang factory service manual hoping to solve the mystery.

I also contacted the Doc at Operation Mustang. He replied "they go in the well area'. Yea, I kinda figured that much. I'm guessing he doesn't really know either.

I searched for the numbers stamped on them but couldn't find anything. Below are the stampings on each part (four total)

Luckmarr
RH 7540026
L.M. -1295

Luckmarr
RH 7540028
L.M. -1296

Luckmarr
LH 7540025
L.M. - 1295

Luckmarr
LH 7540027
L.M. - 1296

If I could figure out what they are and what they go to, then I might be able to pass them along to a needy party.

All I could find was the Luckmarr Plastics Group - luckmarrplastics.com

L.M. is the division that handles Decorating •Assembly •Custom Packaging for them.

Maybe you could contact them and find out what they are for sure?

I also find this curious. Why have a drain if there's no place for water to enter?

Re: Convert Drain Parts - Need data please

Maybe someone else did some "repairs" and filled it up?

Right? No hole on the bottom either or 'repair'. Im the 2nd owner and I've had this car for 15 years. No accidents ever. It is an early '87...I'm beginning to wonder if I got the guinea pig for the new model year.

Found out what they are, their purpose and where these go. They go at the bottom of the 1/4 windows in 83-90 Mustang Convertibles. Purpose is to move water to exit behind each door.
