Here is my MGW before putting the console back on. I had a B&M and this blows it away!
Do those have adjustable stops on them to keep you from over shifting and bending a shift fork?

Yes they do. I opted to use them myself. I just put the shifter in 3rd turned the shift stop until it touched the center shaft then backed it off one full turn. I did the same for fourth. Next I shifted all the gears including reverse to make sure I was completely in gear in all gears. It feels good and I like the added security of the shift stops.

I put a weighted Bullitt shift knob on and it made the MGW shifter so much better. As far as the bending feeling...the set screws were loose on the adjustable angle so all is well. This shifter shifts so solid

So just an FYI, the Pro 5.0 short throw is super sickening! the quality is unbeatable and now I just need an affordable shifter knob and I'd like to have a longer handle.

Weighted ball knobs are the way to go!
