Fuel pressure gauge problem

Ok so I have an electric auto meter fuel pressure Gauge and when I turn the key, it will max it self out, go back to zero, then max itself out again. And it will just stay pegged. Ideas? What could the problem be?

Probably the sending unit is shorted out or open, depending on how it is wired to sense the pressure.

They probably are. Anything to do with a fuel pressure gauge is usually expensive. Check with Autometer and ask how you can test it before buying one.

I hope it's not this one - http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ATM-2246/
