Auto to Manual advice needed

How hard is it to switch from a auto matic trans to standard, and how do I switch out the clutch pedal and run the cable?

It turns out that the transmission is too short for the cross member. Can I buy a longer tail to fit or do I need a whole different transmission

You can modify the aod crossmember to fit the t5 or you can just buy a t5 specific one new or used.

It's really pretty easy(swapping pedals is a pain if you leave the column) I did the swap a few months back.

I talked to a couple people, they said I'd have to get the crossmember brackets cut and welded up closer to the transmission to fit.
