You'll need a tune or a little thing that plugs into where ur egr plugs in so ur computer knows its gone. I can't remember what its called right now but some one will hop on and tell u. Lol.

It's an MIL eliminator. They don't always work so a tune is best. Also use a 5/8-11 short bolt to plug the back of the heads where the exhaust cross over tube goes.

Yeah that! I had just woke up and my brain hadn't fully kicked in yet. I forgot about the bolt. I did mine a while back.

What would a tune do for deleting the egr? I got rid of mine when I put headers on, I never knew it would need a tune.

It will turn your check engine light off. The CEL affects air/fuel mixture because the computer treats it as if something's wrong.

And that is only if you delete the actual egr valve which is connected the the ecu.

I found that too. Now I have an $80 order floating around in space somewhere for a month! Nobody will contact me back. If you do it, I hope you have better luck than me man.

Not to knock anyone but I ordered one and it was in about a week. I wouldn't recommend deleting it unless you really need to for me I had none of the vacuum hosing left in the car except for the brakes. So it was just cheaper to bypass it.

I deleted mine because of trashed vac lines. I'm not trying to knock anyone either. Just wish they would at least get back to me. But it's cool. I'll fab my own block off plate and get a tune once I get my HCI kit. Ain't no step for a high stepper!
