I really don't think a stock foxbody will hit 145mph.
Most likely it will be Aero limited, with the stock HP.
I would say more in the range of 125-130mph, and
jus tbecause the speedometer says 140mph you may
not be traveling that fast.

I had a 90lx SSP CHP car with some mods and that car
would barely hit 140mph, and that is with the calibrated
speedometer...

When my 94 5.0 was stock I was passing through Philadelphia on I-95 south and my speedo was on 155mph , idk if that was the actual speed or what ! I maxed it out for about 2min straight and went through 1/4 tank of gas

I've cruised at 125-130. Definitely had some pedal left. But I would still say without a bad headwind on a nice day 140-145 is definitely doable. Though my car is also a bit lighter than stock.
Since then I'm reluctant to hit anything over 100. My fiberglass hood likes to start dancin around and I've yet to install my hood pins. I'll prolly wait till after winter.
