Dupli-Color and several other companies make some pretty decent interior vinyl and fabric spray paints. I would use one of those to recolor your interior pieces as they are formulated to work on them. Proper and thorough cleaning is a must. If any vinyl or fabric treatments are left on the pieces to be resprayed it can ruin your paint job.
I use Dawn dish liquid and water to scrub the pieces then rinse them, let dry and wipe down with rubbing alcohol right before painting to remove any finger prints or remaining residues. So far that has worked good for me.
