AODE

Ok so I'm still in the middle of building my mustang this is just for later but I was told my stock AODE automatic transmission wouldn't be able to hold up and if it is anyone got any ideas?

That is probably true if your gonna make a lot more power than stock. But you can have it built.

Go to the stickies, useful info and there's a link about AODs TH showed me. I'm planning a built AOD in my stang as well.

The stock AODE is pretty weak and needs to be upgraded if you are upping the HP much.
Info and parts here > Ford AODE


Another choice would be to switch to the 4R70W and build it. They are a little stronger to start with and work very well with upgrades and modifications.
