Window won't go back up? '87 GT

Today I rolled the windows down on both sides, then when I went to roll them back up only the passenger side did. The drivers side when I would roll it down it would go down then when it was almost all the way down it would stop and go, but it had been doing it since I got it so I wasn't worried. What could be the reason it isn't going up?

The window regulator motor or gearbox is bad or the switch is malfunctioning.

With the engine off, turn the key on and press the switch to roll the window up and see if your volt gauge moves. If it does the gear is probably stuck. If not, your switch is bad or you have a loose connection or short. When mine got stuck i pulled the door panel off, put a screw driver on the gear and tapped it with a hammer a few times and it freed it up.

Well I tried switching the switches and that wasn't it. I took the motor out and it wouldn't move, so I took it apart and it looked burn inside! Anyways, I've got a new one ordered and its gonna be here tomorrow morning. $50 is the best price I could find.
